Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment in support of Injection Molding and SMC Molding manufacturing operations. This position ensures products are manufactured according to quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. The role requires adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and all applicable safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Functions
  • Set up, operate, monitor, and control production machinery and equipment used in Injection Molding and SMC Molding processes.
  • Read and interpret work orders, specifications, assembly instructions, and production schedules.
  • Assemble products according to production standards and established guidelines.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to verify compliance with quality requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Handle, position, move, and prepare materials required for production processes.
  • Monitor production output and ensure production quotas, deadlines, and quality standards are met.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and safety issues.
  • Perform basic equipment checks and maintain equipment in safe working condition.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
