Job description

Adecco Staffing is partnering with a reputable manufacturing facility in Peterborough, NH to hire Grind Machine Operators for all shifts! This is a temp-to-hire or direct-hire opportunity, depending on your level of machine operating experience. The position offers competitive pay rates and the opportunity to join a growing company.



Pay Rate: $17-$28 per hour, depending on experience and shift
Schedules Available:
  • 1st Shift Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, OT available
  • 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 3:15pm-11:45pm, OT available
  • 3rd Shift Sunday through Thursday 11:30pm-7:00am (paid for 8), OT available


Job Summary:
Operates grind machinery or utilizes equipment to produce components to specified dimensions and characteristics according to quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate 2 required internal/external grinding machines, including CNC machines, to produce a diversified range of parts on short or long run work, and exacting finish specifications. Follow established procedures, verbal instructions, and information obtained from set-up cards and layout sheets (certified process or engineered cycles) to ensure parts are manufactured as ordered. Inprocess readings to ensure adherence to tolerance.
  • Use micrometers, verniers, optical comparator, microscope, and a variety of fixed and adjustable gauges to set-up equipment and check work.
  • Diagnose and correct operating difficulties, maintain required records, detect and report unusual conditions to assigned leader.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations.
  • Move materials, parts, and containers, as required, to complete job duties.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $28.00 per hour
