Packaging Operator
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76118
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule
We have two full-time shifts available:
  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our production team in Fort Worth. In this role, you will operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to producing high-quality products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate packaging equipment that fills, caps, seals, labels, and bundles finished products.
  • Operate barcode scanners for MTS, PTS, and CTS track-and-trace systems.
  • Monitor production line speed and filling rates to ensure proper sampling and production efficiency.
  • Set up, operate, clean, and perform changeovers on packaging equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make minor adjustments to maintain production.
  • Adjust machinery for different product sizes and packaging requirements.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure packaging quality, correct labeling, lot codes, and expiration dates.
  • Perform rework on packaged goods when necessary.
  • Maintain material hoppers and ensure continuous product flow.
  • Conduct routine quality checks and equipment inspections.
  • Manually package finished products into shipping cartons.
  • Verify inventory usage, waste, and returned materials to maintain accurate inventory control.
  • Load and stack finished products onto shipping pallets.
  • Apply identification labels to packaged products.
  • Clean packaging equipment and production areas while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Complete and maintain accurate batch records and production documentation.
  • Follow all company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and standard operating procedures.
