Job description

What You'll Do:
  • Assemble panels and borders according to established work instructions using various sewing machines (e.g., double overcaster, Brother quilter, serger)
  • Sew borders to panel cloth and produce mattress and box spring covers
  • Overcast edges of quilting border material rolls
  • Read production tickets, gather required materials, and document work accurately
  • Operate sewing machines using foot pedals and hand controls
  • Accurately record sizes and complete required production documentation
How You'll Do It:
  • Perform basic machine maintenance (rethreading, needle changes, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
  • Use measuring tools (ruler) and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, fractions) to ensure quality and accuracy
What You'll Bring:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior sewing experience in a textile or manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience using industrial sewing equipment is a plus
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English 
Wages & Shift Hours:
  • $21.00/hour (base pay)
  • +$2.00/hour second shift differential

For this position: The shift hours are 3:30pm-12:00am
