Job description

  • ollow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
  • Responsible for Maintain overall product and package quality to ensure all required standards and specifications are met.
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment
  • Conduct inspections, changeover, troubleshooting and minor servicing of equipment.
  • Responsible for identifying when equipment is not functioning properly and advising a Supervisor or Mechanic in a timely manner.
  • Ensure equipment in the assigned area is clean, in working order and that working conditions are safe while operating the equipment.
  • Responsible for monitoring correct and legible bottle, case and pallet coding at all times.
  • Ensure that all required operator reports are neatly and accurately completed and submitted to a Supervisor.
  • Conduct required sanitation procedures: CIP (Clean-in-Place), External Foaming and Sanitizing when required.
  • Communicate effectively and especially the beginning and end of the shift to ensure effective hand-off.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality guidelines are met to meet customer standards.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds and perform work assignments.
  • Follow GMPโ€™s and Food Safety Guidelines
  • Follow Safety and Security Rules in Manufacturing Facility
  • Report any urgent Quality or Food Safety Incident to Responsible Personnel
  • In the event of vacation or extended absence the Machine Operator duties will be covered using overtime (other Machine Operators). Overtime may be required
