Small, family-owned manufacturing company located in Livingston, NJ, manufacturing packing films and serving the industry since 1981.
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented bookkeeper / office manager / customer service liaison to join our team and help keep our office and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

This is a hands-on position in a small business environment that is very stabile with direct access and reporting to ownership. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working independently, a strong multitasker and willing to wear multiple hats.
Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping / Office Administration
-Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks (A/P, A/R, invoicing and bank reconciliations)
-Process customer invoices and payments
-General office administration, filing, scheduling and record keeping
-Answer and direct incoming phone calls
-Maintain organized customer and company records
-Assist with basic HR administration and ADP payroll processing
Customer Service
-Manage daily customer emails and inquiries
-Handle customer phone calls
-Track customer orders and provide status updates
-Coordinate with production / shipping to communicate order status
-Maintain a professional and responsive relationship with customers
Operations / Production Support
-Prepare shipping documents and paperwork
-Create labels and other documentation needed for shop/production support
-Assist with purchasing and scheduling pickups
-Track inventory for key customers
-Coordinate with production and management as needed
Qualifications
-Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
-Proficiency with QuickBooks
-Experience with A/P, A/R, invoicing and bank reconciliations
-Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
-Comfortable working in a small business environment and wearing multiple hats
-Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel
-ADP experience is a plus
-Manufacturing experience is a plus
