Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Machine Operators on 1st & Second Shift

Location: Rutherford, NJ

Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift

Pay: $20-$25 ; Overtime $30-$37.50/hour

Job Description

The Machine Operator I is an entry-level position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment used in the manufacturing of components and assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned manufacturing equipment and workstations in accordance with established work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Load raw materials, components, and workpieces into machines or fixtures as required.
  • Monitor machine operation and product flow to ensure efficient production and adherence to established cycle times and output targets.
  • Conduct visual inspections of parts and assemblies to verify conformance with quality standards and work instructions.
  • Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, material shortages, or other production concerns to the supervisor.
  • Complete required production documentation and transactions within ERP or manufacturing systems to maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
