Hourly Wage: $17.75
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
Operate specialized sewing equipment to assemble cut fabric components according to sewing diagrams, work instructions, and quality standards
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Refer to sewing diagrams and style-specific work instructions to sew cut fabric parts into designated subassemblies
• Operate specialized sewing machines in accordance with the manufacturers' operating instructions
• Ensure all fabric notches are properly aligned and use the required number of stitches per inch when sewing parts together
• Select the correct sewing thread according to the color chart and ensure parts are sewn consistently without bunching the fabric
• Perform routine light maintenance on sewing machines, including cleaning, oiling, and making minor mechanical adjustments to maintain consistent stitch quality
• Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
• Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
• Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
• Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
• Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have the ability to:

PREFERRED EDUCATION
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
