Job description

Forklift Operators / Material Handlers

Locations: McAllen & Pharr, TX

Pay: $11.50+ per hour (Depends on Experience)

Schedule: Full-Time, please call for schedules

**Environment: **Both Cold Storage Forklift and regular Warehouse Forklift are available

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Forklift Operators and Material Handlers to support several businesses in warehouse, logistics, and distribution operations. Positions are available for sit-down forklift operators in fast-paced environments including shipping, receiving, inventory, and production support.

Job Duties

  • Operate a Sit-down Forklift to move, stack, and transport materials
  • Assist with Shipping & Receiving as needed
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and production lines safely and efficiently
  • Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Store and retrieve materials from racking systems, including high racks
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and shipments
  • Inspect materials for damage, shortages, and quality issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Follow FIFO procedures and shipping/receiving processes
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and basic equipment maintenance

Qualifications

  • Previous RECENT forklift experience required
  • Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environments preferred
  • Familiarity with RF scanners, inventory systems, or basic data entry
  • Ability to lift and move materials and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules including overtime
