Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC mills, CNC lathes, and manual machining equipment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings.
  • Perform machine setups, tool changes, and program adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards throughout production runs.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections.
  • Operate manual mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment when required.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of machining experience preferred.
  • Experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) preferred.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with CNC programming and editing.
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code.
