Trillium is seeking 1st and 2nd shift Screw Machinists in Winston-Salem, North Carolina!

Pay Rate: $26.00 $28.00 / hour (10% shift differential for 2nd shift)

Shifts Available: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift
-1st Shift: 5:00 AM 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday, with half day Fridays)
-2nd Shift: 4:30 PM 5:00 AM (10% shift differential, Monday-Thursday)

A top industrial manufacturer in the Winston-Salem area is hiring experienced Machinists to set up, operate, and maintain multi-spindle Davenport automatic screw machines.

Key Responsibilities
-Setup & Operation: Read blueprints, tool charts, and layout sheets to install correct cams, gears, and drills. Operate machines at proper feeds and speeds for rough and finish machining (turning, boring, drilling, threading, forming).
-Quality & Inspection: Run sample pieces, measure dimensions against engineering drawings using micrometers and gauges, and obtain initial quality sign-off before production runs.
-Tooling & Adjustments: Monitor parts during operation; sharpen, replace, and adjust tooling (drills, taps, inserts) to maintain tight tolerances.
-Material & Maintenance: Load and maintain bar stock in stock reels, complete shift changeovers, clean/lubricate machinery, and keep work areas chip-free.
-Reporting: Complete basic daily production, quality, and time records, and hand off relevant operational updates to incoming shifts.
