Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator (Precision Stamping)
Location: Howell, MI

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to support high-volume metal stamping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong focus on precision, quality, and efficiency, with the ability to consistently meet strict production targets and tight tolerances.

Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • Overtime may be available based on production needs
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate stamping presses and related machinery to produce high-precision metal components
  • Monitor production to ensure parts meet extremely tight tolerances (within .001)
  • Perform routine quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Maintain high production output while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Identify and report defects or machine issues promptly
  • Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules
  • Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with 5S standards
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
  • Capable of repetitive motion and lifting materials as needed
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment
