Machine Operator

What does a successful Machine Operator do at Fiserv?

You will join the team at our Indianapolis, IN location and receive training on our world class Emboss equipment, while maintaining high levels of confidentiality and efficiency to meet client Service Level Agreements. You will set up, run, and tear down the emboss machine that produces credit, debit, and prepaid credit cards while continuously performing quality control on your work.

What you will do:

  • Operate Emboss production machines manufactured by Entrust
  • Run test cards to confirm the card magstripe and chip are activated
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the running of the job
  • Make sure the cards and the attached mailers have clear print and are presentable for customers
  • Clean up pod area and machine when day is done

What you will need to have:

  • Experience using a computer for data entry
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
  • Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often

What would be great to have:

  • A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience
  • 1 year of fast-paced production environment
  • 1 year of emboss machine operating experience

Important info about this role:

  • You will work an assigned schedule of 1st shift 12hr rotating 7a-7p / 2nd shift Mon-Fri 4p-12a
  • Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
