Machine Operator for Ultra-Web Composite line will effectively operate and maintain UW mixing equipment and web handling machinery, by meeting production and efficiency rates.
Ideal candidates must be able to work regularly at our Bloomington, MN facility.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit competency with the R6 fine-fiber carbon web process.
  • Set up and operate mixing room equipment.
  • Control and monitor fine-fiber process by utilizing the user Human-Machine Interface (HMI).
  • Comply with equipment line setup checklists and procedures.
  • Handle and mix chemicals and other hazardous materials.
  • Performs routine maintenance of machinery to keep in top operating condition.
  • Basic troubleshooting: Equipment and process problems.
  • Responsible for data entry of discrete jobs in ERP and recording lot traceability.
  • Maintain a well-organized and clean work area.
  • Occasionally work with engineers to run sample request trials.
  • Provide training to employees.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills including data entry
  • Manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oracle, Excel and/or Access skills are a plus
  • Experience with inventory transfers of materials
  • Use of hand/power tools.
  • Experience working in a team environment toward a common goal
  • Experience working in a physically demanding and dusty environment
  • Punctual and hardworking
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $25.12 per hour, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
