Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Pay: $20.00 per hour 
Shift: 3rd 10pm – 06am 
Job Summary
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating hydraulic press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. The operator ensures product quality, maintains equipment, and follows all safety and production procedures. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate hydraulic press brake machines to manufacture metal parts. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. 
  • Select, install, and align appropriate punches and dies for each job. 
  • Program machine controls based on bend deductions, dimensions, angles, and offsets. 
  • Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks. 
  • Use measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges to verify specifications. 
  • Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain quality standards. 
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. 
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication. 
  • Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues to supervisors. 
  • Accurately complete production records and documentation. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. 
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
