Responsibilities
Machine Technician I - Burlington
This position is responsible for operating mechanized equipment used in food production. The Machine Technician 1 will typically work on one the following equipment: Wrapper, Delkor, Fallas, Rotary, Depositor.
  • Set up / Startup machine
  • Ensure proper operation of machine
  • Perform weight checks as required.
  • Perform metal detector checks as required.
  • Change cello rolls as required.
  • Ensuring proper machinery and setup completed for product change
  • Ensuring machine is cleaned after product run
  • Perform or assist with light PM's
  • Understand and observe safety rules
  • Perform all tasks at high efficiency levels
  • Data entry of production results into computerized tracking system every hour or as required
  • Follow standard operating procedures for operating machinery effectively and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues as necessary
  • Ability of lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder level
  • Ability to push and/or pull wheeled objects up to 1000 pounds
  • 5S / Housekeeping - maintain cleanliness of area
  • May perform other duties as required
