Die Cutter - 1st Shift


Location: Methuen, MA
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Die Cutter to join our Production team on 1st shift in Methuen, MA. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be comfortable setting up and operating die cutting equipment while maintaining quality and production standards.


Responsibilities

  • Review production routers to verify materials, tooling, and delivery requirements.
  • Set up die cutting presses with the correct tooling and depth of cut.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
  • Operate die cutting and converting equipment according to work instructions.
  • Produce parts that meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
  • Accurately record production times in the MRP system.
  • Follow all fabrication department work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and customer documentation.
  • Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
  • Assist with other production duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous die cutting experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Experience using dimensional measuring tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.


Physical Requirements

  • Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Frequently reach, grasp, carry, and handle materials.
