We are looking for a MACHINE OPERATOR to join our GREENFIELD, IN plant. As a Machine Operator with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of job duties such as welding, work from shop drawings, sketches and other information.
  • Operate production equipment and material handling equipment and align machines
  • Make inspections and periodic checks of equipment to detect mechanical difficulties; maintain necessary service records as required
  • Understand operation and maintenance of equipment and related processing equipment
  • Operate a forklift
  • Observe, understand and apply all administration and safety precautions, rules and procedures throughout the plant
  • Maintain work area in a clean, organized and safe manner
  • Train and mentor new team members
  • Perform other related duties as required and directed by leadership to manufacture concrete products

About You

We Require:

  • 1 plus years of experience working in a Concrete Plant
  • Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication)
  • Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
  • Must be able to use extreme caution when working around cranes, trucks, forklifts and other equipment
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction, first time quality and efficiency
