Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our team in Knightstown, IN. In this position, you will help ensure the efficient running of production by operating and maintaining machinery. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of industrial machines and tools, with strong attention to detail, be safety-conscious, and possess the ability to troubleshoot issues, follow work instructions, and maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Perform basic adjustments, and changeovers as needed; set-up is not required.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Maintain consistent production output to meet daily goals
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more complex problems to supervisors
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment. CNC experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Able to read and comprehend blueprints
  • Able to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Physical ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Steel toe shoes required
