What You'll Do:
We're currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quilt Machine Operator to join our team in Greene, NY.

How You'll Do It:
  • Operate quilt cutting and sewing machines in a continuous flow manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to production and quality standards.
  • Identify process disruptions or malfunctions and make minor adjustments according to standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on quilting equipment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures defined by the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work-related injuries.
  • Practice Lean principles and participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
  • Manufacture sufficient quantities of quality quilted products per specified standards.
  • Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic quilting machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
  • Monitor the quilting process using meters, gauges, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to quilting equipment.
  • Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements.
  • Select and measure raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for quilting production processing.
  • Resolve issues related to the quilting production, machinery, and processing operations.

What You'll Bring:
  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Entry level with little or no experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English

Compensation:
  • $23.00/hour
  • Differential is $2

Working Shift Hours: 3:30pm- 12am(Midnight)
