Job description

Job Summary
The Production Line Operator is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and handling products along a fast-paced processing line to ensure high product quality, consistency, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor product flow across automated processing, washing, and transfer stations to ensure efficient operation.
  • Perform quality checks and sort materials to identify and remove off-spec products.
  • Follow established quality assurance standards, sanitation practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Support general line setup, basic machinery monitoring, and routine operational troubleshooting.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or industrial production environments a plus.
  • Familiarity with general facility safety guidelines (such as LOTO, HazCom, and basic machine safety protocols).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Physical: Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Environment: Work is performed in an active manufacturing plant setting with moving machinery, wet processing areas, and variable temperature zones. Requires proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to hygiene/dress code policies.

Shift: 1st 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (OT available)
Pay: $17/hr
