Machine Operator – Production
Taunton, MA
$19.00 per hour depending on experience

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting production equipment used in the manufacturing and packaging of food products. This role ensures that production runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
  • Set up, operate, and monitor production and packaging equipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform equipment adjustments to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery during operation.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, product defects, and safety concerns.
  • Complete minor troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and quality documentation.
  • Verify product specifications, weights, labels, and packaging standards.
  • Follow all Food Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
