Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our food manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain production and packaging equipment to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production and packaging machines following company procedures.
  • Set up equipment, perform product changeovers, and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure quality and minimize downtime.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical adjustments.
  • Conduct routine quality checks and document results accurately.
  • Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Clean equipment and maintain a safe, organized work area.
  • Complete production, quality, safety, and sanitation paperwork.
  • Handle raw materials and ingredients, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Work with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to meet production goals.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic math, reading, and documentation skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
