Job Summary
The primary responsibility will be for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform limited preventive maintenance on assigned machines. Ensure compliance with standards, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HAACP) requirements and with the General Manufacturing Practices.
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
  • Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
  • Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
  • Housekeeping and sanitation
  • Ability to use hand tools regularly
  • Ability to color code barrels accurately
  • Ability to complete a daily safety checklist
  • Follow prescribed quality standards
  • Ensure proper handwashing and drying is done
  • Proper use and storage of sanitation attire
  • Proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment
  • Ensure proper Protective Personal Equipment is being used
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • Assist with training other mixers
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
