The schedule for this position is Wednesday - Friday, Hours are - 4:20am to 4:40pm. Additional days and hours may be necessary due to production requirements.
Requirements
We are actively hiring an experienced Flexible Press Operator to join our high-performing production team. If you have a background in flexo printing, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in producing flawless work-we want you on our team.
Primary Responsibilities (90% of role):
  • Run, set up, and clean flexographic presses according to daily schedules
  • Complete all required production paperwork accurately and on time
  • Plan and execute efficient setups and changeovers
  • Ensure all components, inks, plates, and materials are prepared for seamless production
  • Validate press readiness for long runs (plate tuning, ink specs, cylinder lock-down, etc.)
  • Monitor and minimize waste (both materials and time)
  • Manage stock efficiently to reduce waste "make-ready"
  • Maintain tight control over color, registration, and print quality
  • Move finished jobs to the next step and clearly label all materials
  • Perform end-of-job press cleaning including doctor rolls, anilox rolls, ink systems, and gears
  • Follow ISO and SOP guidelines consistently

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance
  • Collaborate with supervisors when troubleshooting
  • Use support resources appropriately and professionally
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Flexographic printing experience strongly preferred - this is a must-have for top candidates
  • Ability to read job tickets and follow detailed instructions
  • Working knowledge of flexible packaging materials
  • Strong ability to match colors and maintain registration
