How you'll make an impact:
MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Press Operator III who consider themselves problem-solvers and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As Press Operator III in the Press Department, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Team by setting up and operating a lithographic offset press, achieving a high-quality product in a timely manner.

What will you do in this role?
  • Set up the Press machine at the beginning of the shift and perform all related tasks including pulling the job from the schedule, mounting printing plates, installing ink rollers, and screens as required.
  • Review job orders to set up or adjust the printing machine.
  • Direct the Press Feeder on their responsibilities.
  • Perform quality checks in full compliance with all requirements of the quality system.
  • Perform routine maintenance including machine cleaning, roller maintenance (removing, cleaning and reinstalling), and preventative maintenance inspections of press.
  • Communicate with office and production personnel to clarify job information, as required.
  • Prepare press for change of shift or shutdown; performing all related tasks.

  • Must fulfill the following training and testing requirements: Load Turner Operation (test with passing score required); Motorized Hand Truck Operation (test with passing score required); Press Operation; Quality System Orientation.

Basic Requirements
  • Prior experience running a press machine
  • GED or High School Equivalent

Preferred Requirements

  • Prior experience running a multi-color lithographic offset press machine

The physical requirements and work environment:
Physical Demands
  • Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 2 hours per shift).
  • Lifting/Carrying: Regularly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling.
  • Visual/Manual Requirements: Ability to read gauges, color, measure materials, and perform quality checks.

Environmental Conditions
  • Noise Level: Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.
  • Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves required.
  • Other Factors: Exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.

Schedule & Work Hours
  • Full-time position; standard schedule is 6:00pm-6:00am 3 days/week, with occasional overtime as needed.
