The press operator - injection sets up and operates injection molding presses to convert uncured strips of rubber into cured parts. This role will be for 2nd shift production.           

Primary Responsibilities
  • Follows and signs work orders                                                     
  • If required, completes work order changes                                                            
  • Follows engineering instructions to complete process studies, pilot productions, and first articles
  • Follows safety rules                                                                                              

The Press Operator may perform any of the following operations

  • Sets up an injection molding press                                                              
  • Molds parts using an injection molding press                                                          
  • Changes molding conditions if required                                                                 
  • Returns unused compounded material to mixing department
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but may consider other backgrounds for entry level position
  • Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, be detail oriented as well as reliable
  • This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an area where temperature varies from 60 to 105F
  • Must be able to stand on concrete floor up to 10 hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
