The compensation target for this role is: $21.75
Job Summary
The hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm
The Operator II position will be responsible for daily warehouse distribution tasks, including but not limited to the timely and efficient operations such as receiving, shipping, assembly, material handling, and all other distribution center tasks as assigned. This role will coordinate with their team and their assigned leaders to ensure the distribution center meets or exceeds all company goals, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and assembly. This role will be assigned tasks and review daily workload ensuring that all workload is complete. It is your duty to ensure you choose to work safely using all necessary information and tools to carry out your daily workload. This role should have flexibility to support any distribution warehouse operation as required and assigned.
Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Performs daily tasks in the Warehousing Department, including picking, packing, kitting of materials, receiving, inventory control, operating a forklift, preparing product for use throughout facility.
  • Ensure all required materials are accounted for and ready for upcoming orders.
  • Works closely with your supervisor to maintain a lean and efficient workflow to meet schedules.
  • Contributes to the Team Effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensure Purple's excellence in quality is maintained.
  • Ability to pass any drug tests and certification to operate all PIT and other DC equipment.
  • Ability to operate pallet stretch-wrapping machine.

Required Skills, Education, Experience:
  • Understanding of quality expectations.
  • Ability to use technology-related equipment (ie. Mobile scanners, radios, tablets, computers).
  • Ability to pass a drug test and certification for all PIT equipment for use in the DC.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
