The Opportunity

Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Grand Prairie, Alberta. As the Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for all the shipping and receiving of parts in our warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Shipper/Receiver your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing shipping documents including BOL’s, packing lists, and custom invoices
  • Responding to requests from the Sales team
  • Loading shipments to carrier trucks
  • Scheduling shipments through various courier sites
  • Tracking all orders in transit
  • Maintaining parts and supplies and receiving parts and machine lots
  • Perform the necessary lifting and handling of materials as required
  • Processing returns

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or a valid forklift operator ticket is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
  • A commitment to follow all safe work procedures

The base pay range for this role is: $19.00 to $28.56 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Grand Prairie, Alberta.
