Loader Job Description:

The objective of this position is to exceed the customerโ€™s expectation of service by assuring the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, following company policies and procedures. Assuring shipment of temperature controlled and undamaged products, proper count of goods at customer locations, assuring inventory levels are FIFO in the customer locations.

Must be able to work varied schedule and include Saturday/Sunday

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 6 PM - 2:30 AM working five days a week. (subject to change based on business need)

Required skills and abilities:

  • Must have Stand Up Reach Machine experience
  • Ride on jack experience required
  • Must be able to work Sunday
  • Required to rotate stock
  • Fill pick slots
  • Put away all incoming frozen deliveries
  • Follows all safety requirements and policies

Physical requirements:

  • The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • Work in various climate atmospheres

Minimum Reach machine operator requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 1 year Reach Truck experience
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequency.
  • Must have Stand Up Reach Machine experience
  • Must be able to work in a freezer environment

Reach Machine Operator demands:

  • Safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment and radio frequency equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.

Accountabilities:

  • Promote a safe work environment through personal actions.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed.
  • Direct product to correct area in warehouse.
  • Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
