Job Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred but not required.
  2. Excellent mathematical, communication and computer skills.
  3. Strongly detail oriented and be able to easily multi-task.
  4. Should be able to independently initiate, prioritize, and perform or solve work problems and ultimately achieve work objectives and meet deadlines.
  5. Must be able to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with co-workers, supervisor and management.
  6. Written skills are necessary to properly fill out paperwork.
  7. Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
  8. Follow written (Standard Operating Procedures -SOP’s, company memos & emails) and verbal Instructions.
  9. Familiarity with industrial processing equipment and SOP led facilities.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for handling the incoming raw material, housekeeping duties and packaging of product.

  1. Provide a detailed breakdown of production related events which includes production rates, downtime and deviations in process.
  2. Work with supervisors and operators on executing the Cryo startup procedure.
  3. Assist on final label inspection prior to packaging product.
  4. Ensure final packaging meets quality
  5. Record the weight, temperature and moisture of product throughout the process
  6. Assist in repackaging of product into various packaging sizes.
  7. Ensure proper blending procedures are used to provide bale lot number visibility. Review blends to ensure proper bales are allocated to lot.
  8. Document daily process parameters which include density, temperature, post pellet mill fines, moisture and deviations from target weights.
  9. Execute scheduled daily task assigned by supervisors.
  10. Continuously look for ways to improve process efficiency and notify immediate supervisor of observations and recommendations.
  11. Work in conjunction with Lean Manufacturing Principles in the Cryo Plant.
  12. Lead and promote a safe and sanitary work environment within the facility and follow safety requirements.
  13. Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements.
  14. May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
  15. Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
  16. Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, Employee Handbook, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
  17. Must adhere to all company policies.
  18. Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
  19. Follow all SOPs in a given area.
  20. Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.

    9. Ejecutar las tareas diarias programadas y asignadas por los supervisores.
    10. Buscar continuamente formas de mejorar la eficiencia del proceso y notificar a su supervisor inmediato sobre sus observaciones y recomendaciones.
    11. Trabajar en consonancia con los principios de Manufactura Esbelta (Lean Manufacturing) en la Planta Cryo.
    12. Liderar y promover un entorno de trabajo seguro e higiénico dentro de las instalaciones, cumpliendo con los requisitos de seguridad establecidos.
    13. Mantener un entorno de trabajo higiénico y seguro, y cumplir con los requisitos de seguridad.
    14. Puede participar activamente en el Comité de Seguridad de la empresa.
    15. Asegurar que se observen tanto las políticas de seguridad de la empresa como las normativas federales, estatales y locales en materia de seguridad y medio ambiente.
    16. Debe tener una comprensión completa de las políticas de la empresa, el Manual del Empleado, los Procedimientos Operativos Estándar (SOP), los Procedimientos de Calidad (QP), los Procedimientos de Emergencia (EP), el sistema HACCP y las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (cGMP) pertinentes a su departamento, con el fin de garantizar la calidad, la seguridad, la eficiencia y la sostenibilidad.
    17. Debe acatar todas las políticas de la empresa.
    18. Examinar documentos, materiales y productos, y monitorear los procesos de trabajo para evaluar su integridad, precisión y conformidad con los estándares y especificaciones establecidos.
    19. Seguir todos los SOP correspondientes al área asignada.
