Join a Busy Steel Fabrication Shop in Arlington!
A growing steel manufacturing facility in Arlington is hiring a Machine Operator to work within the parts department, focusing on cutting, drilling, and prepping materials for fabrication. This position is well-suited for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and able to work with precision equipment while maintaining strong attention to detail in a production setting.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire role with reliable hours and consistent overtime available. You’ll be an important part of the production flow, helping ensure materials are accurately processed and ready for the next stage. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Machine Operator Job Duties:
  • Operate bandsaw and drill press to cut and prepare steel materials to exact specifications
  • Read and interpret tape measurements and work orders to ensure precise cuts and dimensions
  • Assist with layout, measuring, and marking materials prior to cutting or drilling
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure materials are staged properly for production
  • Perform basic machine upkeep and follow all safety protocols while operating equipment
Schedules Available:
Day Shift: Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm; OT is required every other Saturday 6:00am–2:30pm
Swing Shift: Monday–Thursday 2:30pm–1:00am; OT is required every other Friday 2:30pm–1:00am

Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour

Machine Operator Requirements:
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately is required
  • Experience operating a bandsaw and/or drill press preferred (training provided)
  • Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety
