Maintenance Technician - Direct Placement
Pay: $30-$35 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Direct Placement
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a direct placement opportunity. This is primarily a 1st shift position with competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work safely and attend required safety training.
  • Ability to remain aware of your surroundings and follow safety procedures.
  • Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Ability to use measurement equipment such as tape measures, micrometers, and other tools.
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Ability to occasionally assist with off-shift coverage when needed.
Job Responsibilities
  • Respond to floor calls and write work orders for additional work required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Complete maintenance work orders.
  • Read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Communicate effectively between shifts and with machine operators.
  • Start up production and support equipment.
  • Clean up after completing maintenance jobs.
  • Use hand tools and maintenance equipment as required.
  • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, or other maintenance equipment as needed.
  • Stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
