About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in a metals manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document inspection results for First Piece layout approvals.

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods for compliance with customer drawings and GD&T requirements.

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with company quality procedures.

  • Operate Brown & Sharpe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using PC-DMIS software.

  • Set up and dismantle inspection gauges for production use.

  • Safely lift and handle parts weighing up to 30 lbs.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within a metals manufacturing environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical blueprints.

  • Proficient in geometry and basic computer skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
