About the role
Qalam is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern or volunteer to support our Academy team, specifically the Foundations program. This part-time role is ideal for a student seeking hands-on operational experience in a nonprofit setting, or someone with administrative experience looking to give back through volunteer work.
What you'll do
  • Create and manage the Foundations program website and learning portal
  • Support instructors with course pacing and curriculum tracking
  • Maintain gradebooks and progress report documentation for each student
  • Manage instructor communication around scheduling and availability
  • Ideate and initiate student socials to foster community building
  • Host regular office hours to address student questions and concerns
  • Manage and respond to email inquiries
