Job description

Concrete Finishing Machine Operator / General Laborer
Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC (Chambersburg, PA)
Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC, a local manufacturing facility, has immediate openings for full-time, first shift Concrete Production Laborers in our block finishing department. This position primarily works with our concrete finishing/grinding machine to help ensure quality finished products. No experience is necessary - training will be provided.
Starting rate is $18.50/hr with potential for overtime.
Schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Overtime on Fridays as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor concrete finishing/grinding equipment
  • Inspect finished concrete products for and appearance
  • Remove defective products and maintain production flow
  • Stack and organize finished materials on pallets
  • Keep work area and machinery clean and safe
  • Assist with basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
  • Learn to operate additional plant equipment, including forklift
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and policies
