Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Lead Machine Operator to join our team! You will operate a variety of machines and mechanical instruments to help facilitate the coating of liner for boxes. On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Operate coating machinery
  • Produce materials to set customer specifications
  • Ability to detect and remove defects during production run
  • Collection of production run samples for laboratory testing
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery
  • Coordinate material movement throughout operation with other plant functions

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating printing and packaging/manufacturing related converting equipment
  • Familiarity with PLC controls and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Lift truck operating experience
  • Problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to handle physical workload of 75 lbs
  • Basic Computer Skills 
  • Familiarity with Food Safety, IFS, HACCP (preferred)
