Job description


We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator who excels in a fast-paced, engaged environment. Our ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and takes pride in ensuring their work is accurate. This role requires a strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to keep our Packaging facility running smoothly.
A Day in the Life:
As a Packaging & Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating an automated fastener packaging machine from start to finish. This includes, loading fasteners into the machine, operating the machine via touchscreen, confirming weight of packages, labeling, and packing finished boxes into a master carton. Employees in this role must balance their ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Experience and Skills
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling stock and fulfilling orders.
  • Communication & Math Skills: Solid verbal, written, and numerical abilities.
  • Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience: Warehouse and forklift experience is desired but not required.
  • Organization: Meet and exceed minimum efficiency levels and production standards.
  • Technology: Computer literacy, with the ability to troubleshoot machine failures.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires;
  • Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
  • Performing repetitive movements throughout the shift including but not limited to, bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Work in an environment that requires maintaining a consistent and often fast paced.
  • Performing work within an environment exposed to consistent noise levels from machinery - ear protection is provided and required when operating or working closely with the packaging machines.

Compensation & Schedule:
  • Full-Time: 40 hours per week, in-person.
  • Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
  • Pay Range: $20.00 - 26.00 per hour
  • Annual Bonus: Discretionary year-end bonus
