Job description

Job Summary:

Support sales process by effectively demonstrating to internal and external customers the advantages and benefits of utilizing Komatsu equipment's cutting edge, progressive technology. This position has a Sales Commission structure.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate grade control demonstrations in conjunction with sales force

• Effectively demonstrate to customers the unique value of available technology

• Communicate with the GPS manufacturer

• Provide product support and training to customers during sales process

• Continue support and training to customers follow the sale of equipment

• Manage machine control product inventory

• Manage grade control sales and rental activities

• Provide basic technology troubleshooting procedures to company technicians

• Facilitates communication between customer, Komatsu, and local Topcon dealer

• Other responsibilities as requested by manager

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Exceptional communication skills

• Commitment to providing excellent customer service

• Ability to learn heavy equipment operation

• Knowledge of- and experience with - precision GPS products

• Basic understanding of computer networks, systems and software

• General land/construction surveying knowledge

• Ability to utilize land/construction surveying equipment

• Strong construction knowledge and experience

Geospatial Survey Experience a plus for this role.
