Job description

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of normal limits of vital signs and commonly used lab tests by recognizing abnormal findings and reports them to the RN. Under leadership of RN the LVN gathers data on patient’s physical and emotional needs. LVN gathers data on family psychological needs. Under leadership of RN the LVN provides skilled and safe nursing care to assigned patients.

Under leadership of RN the LVN gathers data on patient’s physical and emotional needs. LVN gathers data on family psychological needs. Under leadership of RN the LVN provides skilled and safe nursing care to assigned patients.


Current licensure as a LVN in the State of California. Current Basic Life Support certification and ACLS required. Required IV certification. Required NIHSS Stroke certification.
