Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for providing friendly, engaging, and superior service to every guest. Create a warm, friendly, and safe atmosphere for guests. Maintains safe environment for guests and staff.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide superior levels of customer service to all guests
  • Maintain a safe atmosphere for all guests and team members
  • Apply verbal judo concepts in communication with irate or intoxicated guests.
  • Report all safety or security incidents to Security Director and General Manager (and Bar Manager on duty at time of incident).
  • Forward employee incidents to HR and Director of Security as soon as completed.
  • Complete a report for all guest incidents such as injuries or security issues
  • Ensure that guests are of age by properly checking identification
  • Maintain high visibility during shift
  • Enforce FINE Entertainment guest standards of conduct including dress code.
  • Protect FINE Entertainment property by maintaining crowd activity
  • Control the flow of guests coming into the venue as well as maintaining the flow of walkways and high traffic areas.
  • Maintain the proactive approach to solving any guest’s questions or problems
  • Immediately stop any illegal activity or inappropriate behavior
  • Escort guests from the premises based at management’s discretion
  • Actively market social media and FINE Entertainment smart phone app.
  • Must maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all guidelines established by the Southern Nevada Health District and Building and Fire guidelines.
  • Adhere to all Department and Company Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Previous experience as Security or Security Host is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to initiate and engage guests in conversation in a professional manner.
  • Must possess a valid Alcohol Awareness Card. (TAM, ACT, or other qualifying card)
  • Must possess a valid Sheriff’s Card issued by the LVMPD Fingerprint Bureau.
  • Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, lift, and clean during various activities throughout shift.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
