Job description

Sutton is seeking an experienced communications professional at the Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and/or Account Director leveltojoin our team in either New York or Los Angeles.

This full-timerole is ideal for a strategic, highly connected communications professional with specific expertise across arts and culture, with a speciality or focus on architecture, design, interiors, luxury products, and/or B2B product communications. The successful candidate will have experience developingand implementingcreative, integrated profile-raising campaigns, securing high-level media coverage, executing paid and owned digital strategies,advising high-profileclients, and building strong relationships within the design and luxury landscape.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated communications strategies for architecture, design, and luxury clients
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring proactive communication, and thoughtful strategic counsel, while meeting all account KPIs
  • Build andmaintain strong industryrelationships - from journalists, editors, andinfluencers to brand sponsors, cultural organizations and talent
  • Draft and oversee press materials, client updates, reports, and campaign documents
  • Secure impactful media coverage and drive product placementacross local, national, and international outlets
  • Project manage campaigns as well as associated events, press previews, interviews, and other activations as required
  • Identify creative opportunities that build brand awareness across all aspects of the comms mix
  • Collaborate with team members across Sutton's offices in the US and across the globe
  • Support and mentor junior team members where applicable

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience of at least 4-8 years(depending on level)in integrated communications and marketing, with agency experience as aplus
  • Strong background in architecture, design, interiors, luxury products, and/or B2B product placement
  • Established media relationships and proven track record securing press coverage
  • Experience developing and executing strategic, integrated campaigns for designers, architecture firms, institutions, brands,or luxury clients
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written andverbal communication skills
  • Based in New York or Los Angeles
  • Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (not a requirement)
