CNA II- Assisted Living (PRN-As Needed)

Job Duties:

  • Assist nursing staff with completion of senior resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care
  • Perform vital signs on senior residents at beginning of each shift and as directed
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure the safety of our senior residents
  • Assist with motivating senior residents to help keep them active and engaged

Qualifications:

  • 1-year experience or more is required
  • Must hold a current certification and CNA II license
  • Must possess a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Previous experience working in a CCRC environment is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with senior residents
  • Ability to listen attentively is essential
  • A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
  • Previous experience developing relationships and interacting with senior residents to increase their comfort level
  • Prior knowledge organizing social activities for senior residents is a plus
  • Current CPR Certification
