Lunch Monitor
Position Purpose
Supervise students during grade-level lunches to ensure safety and maintain respectful environment within the cafeteria during lunch.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
  • Assisting with opening/lunch set up, providing water and napkins, etc. when needed,
  • Cleaning tables between lunches
  • Problem-solving with kids when necessary
  • Monitoring the safety of students with known allergies (training provided).
  • Creating a respectful environment during lunch time
  • Communicating with staff when a problem arises
  • This can be fast paced and does require someone to be on their feet for the duration of the time on duty.
  • Monday - Friday, 10:20 - 1:10
