Lunch Supervisor

  • Help supervise students in the cafeteria, during outdoor recess, and in the classroom during indoor recess.
  • Help students as needed; open packaged food or milk.
  • Help wipe cafeteria tables at the end of each lunch period.
  • Help sweep or mop floors from student spills between lunch periods.
  • Learn guidelines of student behaviors; when to notify the social worker, nurse, or principal.
  • Learn how to use PBIS (positive behavioral interventions and support) with students.
  • Bring recess equipment outside to designated areas and return after final recess.
  • Supports Teamwork
  • Maintains a pleasant attitude with all staff and students.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Hourly rate: $15.00/hr
