Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.


Luna Park in Coney Island is actively recruiting for Seasonal Games/Arcade Team Members. The Seasonal Games/ Arcade Team Member would be responsible for various tasks including assisting guests with games and arcade usage.


Location: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224, USA


Job Description:

  • Assist guests in enjoying our Arcade attractions with friendly guidance.
  • Share current park info, including tickets, games, promotions, and more to the guest by being knowledgeable of this information to provide a positive guest experience.
  • Provide information regarding games and the park itself.
  • Keep game areas neat, prevent theft, and handle payments.
  • Receive payment and make changes as needed, as per cash handling procedures of the company.
  • Maintain a clean workspace and assist with guests' photos or videos.
  • Able to work effectively independently as well as in a group setting.
  • Able to make quick and effective decisions.
  • Able to learn and understand all policies and procedures pertinent to the department and the functions of the job.
  • Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner with coworkers, supervisors, and park guests.
  • Monitor and respond to inappropriate guest behavior, by enforcing the rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned by the department manager.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in games or customer service is a plus.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with guests and create a positive, memorable experience.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change.
  • Flexibility to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the shift.
  • Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions .
  • Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs.
