THE JOB:
As a Fountain Worker at Luchini at MGM Grand, you play an essential role in shaping unforgettable guest experiences from the very first moment. With a warm, genuine smile and attentive service, you set the tone for an inviting and vibrant atmosphere. By intuitively understanding each guest's unique story and preferences, you take ownership of their journey-curating personalized moments that delight, surprise, and exceed expectations. Your presence transforms everyday interactions into extraordinary experiences, creating lasting "wow" memories that guests will carry with them long after their visit.
THE STARTING RATE: $15.8977 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Take and place order and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
  • Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
  • Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
  • Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
  • Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required.
  • One (1) year of experience of guest service experience preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant preferred.
