Dave's Super Car Care Inc., a Valvoline Express Care operator, is hiring a Lube Center Manager! Our managers act as trusted automotive maintenance experts, customer service leaders and team developers, to ensure customers’ safety, satisfaction, and retention. Providing the best preventive maintenance services for our guests means you will not only get to work with your hands, but also with people.

What you’ll do as Lube Center Manager:

  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing the service center, performing customer service and technician duties to serve guests and service their vehicles, manage cash and maintain store curb appeal.
  • Cultivate and lead a fun team atmosphere.
  • Lead and coach team members to top performance, and develop team members to their highest potential
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent, positive guest experience
  • Know and understand our products, services, company policies and procedures, and customer service process.
  • Perform light automotive preventive maintenance, such as changing oil, checking and refilling other vehicle fluids, replacing filters, and inspecting and replacing lights and wipers.
  • Perform customer service tasks, such as quick and friendly greeting, knowledgeable service review and professional recommendations, cash out and welcome back.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

What skills you will use:

  • You are friendly and ready to work as part of a customer-focused team.
  • Have effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, facility and safety control policies and practices.
  • Have an eagerness to learn.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Have full mobility and the ability to work with your hands above your head.
  • Can stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months supervisory experience, or related experience/training preferred.
