The Key Account Specialist - Domestic LTL serves as the operational leader and primary customer contact for a strategic transportation account.
Your profile
  • You have a strong understanding of LTL carrier operations, routing, pricing, transit management and transportation best practices.
  • You have experience managing strategic customer accounts, control tower operations, or complex transportation programs.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers, carries and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as CargoWise, Turvo, SAP or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated success managing shipment expectations, resolving servise issues, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to proritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret transportation data, identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • 5+ years of experience in domestic transportation, logistics, or LTL operations

Your Duties
  • Coordinate and execute end-to-end domestic LTL shipments across North America
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific operating procedures, service requirements, and transportation standards
  • Manage shipment lifecycle activites including pickup scheduling, routing, tracking, exception resolution, and final delivery
  • Monitor transportation costs, validate invoices, and identify opportunites for margin improvement
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with the necessary departments to ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Negotiate transportation solutions that balance service quality, capacity availabiliy, and cost efficiency
