Pay Rate: $18.50 Hourly
General Responsibilities
Managing a team to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
A. Operational Functions:
• Managing a dispatch team that schedules and coordinates deliveries and pick-ups.
• Ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered timely into tracking software.
• Managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and location of drivers.
• Tracking delivery progress of shipments.
• Managing the zoning of driver dispatches to ensure they are cost effective routes.
B. Administrative Functions:
• Keeping records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
• Managing and tracking detention times accurately per shipment.
Minimum Requirements
• LTL, Local, and Linehaul Knowledge.
• Deadline driven thorough knowledge of the LTL and Linehaul.
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
• Excellent time management.
