Performance & Restoration Technician / Fabricator

Company: Firefoxx Automotive
Location: murray, UT
Pay: $30–$60+/hour DOE (Top performers can earn more)

About Us

Firefoxx Automotive is not your average repair shop. We specialize in custom builds, restorations, performance upgrades, fabrication, engine swaps, diagnostics, and solving problems that other shops can’t.

We’re looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys challenging work, and wants to build some of the coolest vehicles in Utah.

If you’re looking for a shop where you spend every day doing oil changes and brake jobs, this isn’t it.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics
  • Engine repair and replacement
  • LS swaps and performance engine installations
  • Custom fabrication and welding
  • Suspension and steering modifications
  • Brake system upgrades
  • EFI and aftermarket engine management installation
  • Custom wiring and electrical troubleshooting
  • Exhaust fabrication
  • Restoration and classic vehicle work
  • Working directly with customers on unique custom projects

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of professional automotive experience
  • Strong diagnostic ability
  • Able to work independently
  • Own professional tools
  • No tantrums!

Preferred

  • TIG welding
  • MIG welding
  • Fabrication experience
  • Performance engine experience
  • LS swap experience
  • Holley EFI experience
  • Wiring and electrical diagnostics
  • Scan tool and oscilloscope experience
  • ASE certifications (not required)
